Abode's Edge tap... pushing the boundaries

Abode-Edge-tap.jpgIn recent years the humble kitchen tap has received a massive transformation and now takes its rightful place in the home; no longer the simple piece of utilitarian and functional design. Abode kitchen taps are now high on the agenda in the design stakes using only the finest components, from the silky smooth valve cartridges to the anti-splash aerators at the end of the spout.

This striking minimalist planate angular designed monobloc mixer tap is Edge, a low pressure tap with quarter turn action for precise flow control. Edge is architecturally tall - standing at 275mm - and takes its cutting edge design styling from contemporary kitchen design. Requiring a minimum 0.4 bar pressure, this tap is supplied complete with fast fit tails for fast, simple fitting.

Smooth on the eye and smooth to the touch, Edge is available in four popular finishes - Chrome, Brushed Nickel, Granite Black and Gloss white and each and every one will look stunning in all modern homes.

"Abode taps are created for people who want the perfect blend of design, performance and sheer quality and our kitchen mixer tap range combines precision perfect engineering with stunning design," comments Paul Illingworth, Design Manager of Abode. "It's all about enabling ideas and processes, making products approachable, usable, desirable and memorable and the most effective way to make a design usable is to make it interesting enough that people want to use it!"

The Edge tap can be viewed on Abode's website or seen in the company's new Kitchen Sinks and Mixertaps brochure for 2015, which can be downloaded from:
