As one of the original members of the Council of the British Toilet Association and an ex-Loo of the Year Awards judge, I thought I’d seen it all when it came to what might pass as a lavatory, but I have to admit that the loo supplied by Thomas Crapper to Jamie Oliver’s new Italian Trattoria restaurant in Richmond made me chuckle (see the story below). As Richmond is fairly close to me I might just take a trip along to the establishment and avail myself of the facilities there… I have to admit that it’s been a long time since anyone has said ‘Nice buns!’ to me! John and I are flying out to Germany next week to cover a large show for another industry so we may be a little harder to contact than normal. Rest assured that we won’t be forgetting the KBB industry while we’re away though! We’ll be keeping a close eye on trends in Berlin’s bathrooms and will report back on anything that excites us. Yours,
